Today I finally found a hat and mitten set that I like and will fit Luke. It will match his winter coat, too. He's not fond of hats, so I wanted one that secures under the chin so he can't pull it off and I didn't want mittens with thumbs. I also found a pair of shoes that are really cool - the laces are elastic and there is a velcro closure on the heel to make it easier to put on and off. Luke isn't used to shoes yet so whenever I try some on him, he curls up his feet and I can't get them on all the way.
He looks pretty happy here, but he tried to pull the hat off as soon as I put the camera away, and he really didn't know what to think about the shoes. He'll learn to get used to them!

Thanks for the recommendation, Luke's mom! Love the velcro shoes thing...I've been having the same problem with Kyle and his expensive little babyGap shoes!
So Cute! What a sweetie! He looks like he is ready for winter!
I'd like to have some of those shoes for my students - I swear,I tie at least 64 shoelaces everyday and would love some stretchy laces or velcro!!
