Today Luke did something new - 2 things actually. He hugged a stuffed animal, the big black and white cow his cousin gave him for his birthday. It was SOOOO cute, I wish I'd had the camera. He put his little arms around it, laid his head down on it and nuzzled it.
Even better, when I went over to him he put those same little arms around ME and hugged ME.
Life doesn't get much better than a first hug from your first child.
