Round Two

Remember last year I said that I knew 15 other people who had babies around the same time Luke was born? It's happening again. I guess it's only normal, but our church nursery is to the bursting point. Hopefully the new building will be finished by the time ours needs to go to nursery.

I am also reminded that God, in his faithfulness to us and provision of good gifts, retains a sense of humor. He did create laughter, after all. My friend Lisa, who has a little girl 3 weeks younger than Luke, had a pre-cancerous tumor removed this past spring, along with the ovary it was attached to. She was concerned that it might be difficult to conceive again. Sunday she and her husband announced in Sunday School that they are expecting TWINS! How's that for ironic? Of course, then the joke was that perhaps I was having triplets since I've been feeling so poorly. I think maybe I'll laugh AFTER my doctor tells me tomorrow it's only one.

Well, congratulations again, Katie and Alec! I don't think I've seen you since last fall at the WCA bazaar. Luke is very cute! I bet he's worlds of fun too. I hope this pregnancy goes well.

Congratulations! March is a wonderful time to have a baby...better than late August or early September like mine and your Mom's first.
