I gave Erin bangs. I initially didn't want to cut her hair, but I was tired of seeing her hair in her face and she pulls clips out 2 minutes after I put them in - and then puts them in her mouth. I can't be watching her for clip-eating all the time and the hair was below the bottom of her nose, so they got chopped. I don't think Alec is too keen on it, but they'll grow out and I did cut them straight so they don't look bad.
And here's a little unrelated video clip of Erin. Just to show you how difficult it is to take a nice picture of her face since she moves so much. She was watching "Wheel of Fortune" which is why she keeps looking to her left.
A few days ago I took the kids to Value Village, a local thrift shop that I frequently buy clothes at for the kids. I told Luke that we could look through the toy aisle and maybe he could get a game or a puzzle. We found a really good condition game of "Mousetrap" and he's been having fun learning about Rube Goldberg machines now.
Incidentally, my favorite Rube Goldberg machine of all time is this Honda ad called "Cog". Legend has it that the whole ad is one continuous shot, but it is, alas, only an urban legend.

I loved Mousetrap as a kid.
And I really like Erin's bangs. They frame her eyes so beautifully. I think Alec should just get used to it. :)
I LOVE that first picture of her! Her eyes look so big and she looks so inquisitive about the world. She'll have plenty of time for barrettes later in life! Good choice!
Wow I can´t believe how much older she looks. I can´t decide if it´s the new haircut or if it´s just that I haven´t seen any pictures of her in a month!
The bangs just make her big blue eyes even more beautiful!
