EEEK!
I was just finishing up the dishes just now when I heard a very loud buzzing coming from the laundry room. There is a bee/wasp thingy in the window that is no smaller than 2.5 inches long, I kid you not. I went to find something to trap it in and now I can't find it! Ickk. I feel crawly things on me!

probably a hornet. They live in the ground and hunt other big bugs (I watched one fly off with a big locust last year). Oddly, they don't seem very agressive.
