Last night Alec carved our pumpkin. Luke was less than interested for the most part - except when I hauled out the camera. He was standing on a chair next to me and when I turned the camera on he looked at me and said, "Cheese." It was pretty funny. He hadn't done that before.
The picture was even funnier - truly cheesy!
Luke was a little interested because there was a huge "kumpkin" on the table. I kept trying to get him to say "pumpkin" by popping my p's but he only succeeded in saying, "p p p pkumpkin."
He liked watching Daddy dump out the guts and said the required "yuck"s and "stinky"s - of course just copying everything we were saying.
He got a little more interested when he saw what Alec was doing, but mostly he just hung around and looked at books.
The scary finished product:
Now we're all set. We've got the pumpkin, Alec raked the leaves last night, and I have my big bowl of mini chocolates.
I think I'll go now and do something I haven't done in a while - take a nap! I'm feeling fine, but I think the time change just caught up with me today and I can't keep my eyelids open.
