My number after breakfast was still pretty high, but I just now took my after lunch reading and it was about 20 points lower than I usually have after a meal, even on a good day. I guess the pill just had to kick in. I did feel very "low" around 10 am so maybe I'll be able to eat more for breakfast from now on. Yay!
Incidentally, I asked my doctor about the warning label on the pill bottle and she laughed. It's a common drug given to women with gestational diabetes, but I guess they have to put that warning on for everyone else who takes it.
Em - it's not glucophage, although that was used in the past for GDM. Now they use glyburide - found it was safer and more effective. I don't care, as long as it works.

Yeah, those labels can be pretty hilarious. They have to warn against all "side-effects" that people experience during testing. My favorite is the warning on the nausea medicine - "May cause nausea or vomiting." Nice.
