Twins!

Last night Luke & Alec both got new buzzcuts**. Today they both wore Aloha shirts to church. And they both wore necklaces - Alec found an adjustable one in his drawer for Luke to wear. It was pretty cute and he really liked wearing his "beads."

**While cutting Luke's hair, we found one of these. Bring back any memories, Bosscher siblings?

Oh no!! Did you use the old hot match head trick to get it out? Were you out somewhere in a field or meadow? Or were you bugging the black angus cows on the other side of someone's fence?? Keep an eye on it - you want to make sure the head doesn't stay under the skin. Just so it wasn't a deer tick. Love the beads and buzzes.

Don't worry. When Alec pulled it out, it was whole and still alive. We kept it so we could Google to find out what kind it was. We used rubbing alcohol to help get it out - no matches in my baby's hair!

eww eww eww, I still remember those things with great disgust... I shudder....

Now I'm all creeped out... Glad you got it out!

And the boys look very cool dressed alike!

I remember those with great disgust. Glad it was safe--a friend of mine was just diagnosed with Lyme disease. How did he feel about it all?
I like the Aloha shirts and the beads!

Welcome to the world of 'head watching' and all that it entails. Head lice are the BIG things in HI and Alec's playmate, Michael, had them twice. He was an only child and lived next door to us (w/3 kids). I was hyper-vigilant about their heads and no sharing, etc., etc. We never had a case so seeing that tick from Luke's head made me shudder. The aloha shirts and beads are great. You are a good buzz cutter, Katie.

What good looking boys! I love the beads. Remember those great big ticks on the dog that looked like drops of Elmer's glue? Those were the worst!
