It is 11:25 pm, I am in Honolulu, and it is the strangest, loudest New Year's Eve I have ever experienced. Every other person here has mounds of fireworks. Alec tells me to just wait, in 30 minutes it will really get loud. I'm going to go sit in the room with Erin and make sure she doesn't wake up, but I'll let you know how it goes later.
