Today I put the "sandwich" of Luke's quilt together. Here's what the top looks like all pieced together (at least, the part that fit on the table):
I think I'm not going to start quilting it until after the baby is born. It's pretty awkward with my big belly right now. Besides, I want to finish the new curtains for Luke's room this week.

We got a bassinet from a friend at church today. Luke thought it was great fun to lay down in the bed part before we put it together.
Kukui thought it was equally fun to hop into the basket.
Anyone want to come give my boy a haircut? I just don't want to do it right now, but it may be awhile until I get the chance. I guess I could just bring him somewhere for a "real" one.

Katie, the quilt if beautiful! I hope you get a chance to show it somewhere, someday, because it's an original design and those are favorites at shows. Is the little baby bed to have downstairs so you don't have to climb the stairs too much or are you giving Luke a little more crib time? I'm working on finding a sub for the 4th and 5th of April. Dad found one, but I'm still looking!!
The baby bed is because Luke is not out of his crib yet - not intentionally, the room just isn't done yet.
